Welcome To The New World

Hello my name is Shane. I'm an artist, musician, producer, songwriter, actor, fashion model and a community curator of Show & Tel Boston. Born and raised in Boston, MA I fuse my musical talents with other forms of art, community work and storytelling.

For this specific project my goal was to create a music album, but not just any album..a global one, let me explain. I've been making art & music since I was a child but in 2021 something special happened. I founded a community platform called Show & Tell Boston. With this platform we showcased artists, singers, poets and musicians from all over New England. In 2023 I began writing music for an album I wanted to create but I was creatively looking for inspiration. Then suddenly an idea came to me. After years of building the music community in my city I wanted to expand. I connected with other artists and creatives from around the world to create a global album that would bridge the gap between all of our cultures and bring us all together through the love of music and culture.

The final result was my album titled Welcome To The New World. I collaborated with creatives from countries like Tanzania, Colombia, Brazil, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Jamaica, Argentina, England and the United States.

This ambitious project also produced a viral dance trend made popular by dancers from all across the continent of Africa. They chose one of the stand out songs titled New World Bounce and started a dance trend on Tik Tok and Instagram.
